Брокерская компания E-Trade Financial Group планирует предоставить клиентам возможность торговли криптовалютами на своей платформе.
🔺Как сообщает издание Bloomberg, ссылаясь на источник, знакомый с ситуацией, сначала компания предложит торговлю биткоином и эфиром, но позже на площадку будут добавлены и другие криптовалюты. Представители E-Trade отказались комментировать данную информацию.
✅E-Trade является одной из крупнейших брокерских фирм на рынке. Компания обслуживает почти 5 миллионов клиентских счетов. За прошлый год, согласно отчету, поданному в Комиссию по ценным бумагам и биржам США (SEC), E-Trade заработала $9.6 млрд, а общая сумма активов компании превышает $65 млрд. Появление на платформе криптовалют – это знак принятия цифровых активов в финансовой индустрии.
☝️Отметим, что в прошлом году один из конкурентов E-Trade – площадка Robinhood – объявила о предоставлении торговли криптовалютами в пяти штатах США, а в начале этого года компания получила BitLicense для предоставления в штате Нью-Йорк услуг, связанных с криптоактивами. При этом Robinhood на некоторое время даже обошла E-Trade по количеству торговых счетов.
