Американский регулятор начал рассматривать по существу документы, поданные биржей NYSE Arca совместно с партнером Bitwise Asset Management. Согласно официальному сообщению от Комиссии по ценным бумагам, 🔽Заявку содержит предложения по внесению изменений в правила формирования листинга для биткоин-фонда ETF.
Рассмотрение началось 15 февраля. В соответствии с нормами, установленными для рассмотрения подобного рода заявок, SEC обязана дать ответ в течение 45 дней с момента начала рассмотрения заявки. Если, к моменту окончания срока, Комиссия не выработает мнения по сути заявки, она сможет запросить дополнительное время для изучения вопроса.
✅Три недели из полутора месяцев Комиссия, согласно регламенту, отводит на изучение комментариев по сути заявки. Напомним, что компании NYSE Arca и Bitwise анонсировали свои планы по открытию криптовалютного ETF-фонда в начале этого года. Согласно описательной части заявки, биткоин-фонд, предложенный NYSE Arca и Bitwise, будет использовать сторонний сервис для хранения криптовалют. Какой именно кастодиан будет выбран, пока не разглашается, но очевидно, что не последнюю роль в выборе будет играть безопасность.
☝️Напомним, на днях компания Reality Shares отозвала аналогичную заявку, в которой также содержались изменения правил функционирования криптобиржи NYSE Arca с целью запуска биржевого криптовалютного фонда с возможностью оперировать фьючерсами на биткоин.

The American regulator began to consider essentially the documents submitted by the NYSE Arca together with its partner Bitwise Asset Management. According to an official statement from the Securities Commission, 🔽Application contains proposals for amending the listing rules for the bitcoin fund ETF.
The review began on February 15th. In accordance with the standards established for the consideration of such applications, the SEC is obliged to respond within 45 days from the start of the consideration of the application. If, by the end of the term, the Commission does not develop an opinion on the nature of the application, it will be able to request additional time to study the issue.
✅Three weeks of one and a half months, the Commission, according to the regulations, assigns to study the comments on the essence of the application. Recall that the companies NYSE Arca and Bitwise announced their plans to open a cryptocurrency ETF fund earlier this year. According to the descriptive part of the application, the Bitcoin fund proposed by the NYSE Arca and Bitwise will use a third-party service for the storage of cryptocurrencies. Which custodian will be chosen until it is disclosed, but it is obvious that safety will play a significant role in the choice.
☝️ Recall, the other day, Reality Shares withdrew a similar request, which also contained changes in the rules of the NYSE Arca cryptobirth to launch a cryptocurrency exchange fund with the ability to operate bitcoin futures.
