💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥Криптовалютная биржа Binance добавила поддержку Segregated Witness (SegWit) для депозитов в биткоине (вывод средств на SegWit-адреса уже поддерживается). Пользователи уже могут выбрать SegWit-адрес (формата bech32) для перевода BTC в меню депозитов. Об этом биржа сообщила в своем блоге.
✅Segregated Witness (SegWit) — это обновление протокола, разработанное для решения проблем масштабируемости в сети биткоина. При использовании SegWit подписи отделяются от данных транзакции, что приводит к увеличению пропускной способности сети биткоина.
Преимуществом использования адресов формата bech32 является то, что они нечувствительны к регистру — это снижает вероятность того, что кто-то допустит ошибку при вводе адреса. Bech32 также имеет автоматическую проверку формата адреса, которая гарантирует, что пользователь не отправит свои биткоины на неверный адрес.
📌Решение SegWit было разработано в 2015 году Питером Вулле и другими разработчиками Bitcoin Core. В августе 2017 года обновление было активировано в результате софтфорка в сети биткоина.

💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥Binance cryptocurrency exchange added support for Segregated Witness (SegWit) for deposits in Bitcoin (withdrawal of funds to SegWit addresses is already supported). Users can already select the SegWit address (bech32 format) to transfer BTC in the deposits menu. The exchange announced this in its blog.
✅Segregated Witness (SegWit) is a protocol update designed to address scalability issues in the Bitcoin network. When using SegWit, signatures are separated from the transaction data, which leads to an increase in the bandwidth of the Bitcoin network.
The advantage of using bech32 addresses is that they are case insensitive, which reduces the likelihood that someone will make a mistake when entering the address. Bech32 also has an automatic address format check which ensures that the user does not send their bitcoins to the wrong address.
📌 The SegWit solution was developed in 2015 by Peter Woolle and other Bitcoin Core developers. In August 2017, the update was activated as a result of a soft fork on the bitcoin network.
