Некастодиальная торговая площадка IDEX, работающая на базе Эфириума, планирует добавить поддержку двух новых блокчейнов — Binance Smart Chain и Polkadot.
🔺Как рассказал генеральный директор IDEX Алекс Уирн (Alex Wearn), после запуска смарт-контрактов площадки на новых сетях держатели токенов IDEX на Эфириуме получат эквивалентное количество токенов в Binance Chain и Polkadot. При этом Алекс Уирн отметил, что сейчас с Эфириумом очень сложно потягаться в популярности, однако IDEX собирается «одной из первых занять свое место» в новых сетях.
📌Новые токены будут распределены уже 7 декабря, причем, если пользователь не успеет вовремя запросить свои токены на Binance Chain и Polkadot, то они будут переданы сообществу. Торговля на новых сетях будет запущена, как надеются разработчики, в I квартале следующего года.
Уирн подчеркнул, что IDEX продолжает работать над тем, чтобы стать полноценным аналогом централизованных криптовалютных бирж. Запуск на Binance Smart Chain уже практически готов, но детали запуска на Polkadot еще требуют проработки.
🔺Выбор Polkadot и Binance Chain не случаен — обе сети полностью совместимы с Виртуальной машиной Эфириума (EVM), поэтому перенос смарт-контрактов должен пройти без каких-либо проблем. По словам CEO IDEX, площадка в будущем надеется запуститься и на других перспективных блокчейнах. А вот полноценной торговли между блокчейнами пока можно не ожидать:
«Полноценная кросс-чейн торговля появится через много лет».

Ethereum-powered non-custodian marketplace IDEX plans to add support for two new blockchains - Binance Smart Chain and Polkadot.
🔺As IDEX CEO Alex Wearn said, after the launch of the platform's smart contracts on new networks, IDEX token holders on Ethereum will receive an equivalent amount of tokens in Binance Chain and Polkadot. At the same time, Alex Wyrn noted that now it is very difficult to compete with Ethereum in popularity, but IDEX is going to "be one of the first to take its place" in new networks.
📌New tokens will be distributed already on December 7, and if the user does not have time to request their tokens on Binance Chain and Polkadot in time, they will be transferred to the community. The developers hope that trading on new networks will be launched in the first quarter of next year.
Wyrne stressed that IDEX continues to work to become a full-fledged analogue of centralized cryptocurrency exchanges. The launch on Binance Smart Chain is almost ready, but the details of the launch on Polkadot still need to be worked out.
🔺The choice of Polkadot and Binance Chain is not accidental - both networks are fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), so the transfer of smart contracts should go through without any problems. According to the CEO of IDEX, the site hopes to launch on other promising blockchains in the future. But full-fledged trade between blockchains can not yet be expected:
"Full-fledged cross-chain trading will appear in many years."
