Разработчики блокчейн-платформы Zilliqa объявили о намерении интегрировать стейблкоин Binance USD (BUSD) в свою экосистему. В этом им поможет децентрализованная биржа Switcheo.
✅Интеграция будет осуществлена посредством создания «моста совместимости» между цепями Ethereum и Zilliqa. Благодаря ему держатели BUSD смогут перемещать стейблкоин с Ethereum на Zilliqa и обратно. Zilliqa и Switcheo выступят операторами моста и сформируют административный консорциум, который будет управлять всеми контрактами ZRC-2-BUSD или zBUSD. В качестве преимуществ такого подхода заявлены увеличение скорости и снижение комиссий.
❗️Для реализации описанного замысла будет задействовано два смарт-контракта. Один из них позволит фиксировать BUSD на блокчейне Ethereum, второй – выпускать zBUSD на блокчейне Zilliqa. Выпуск zBUSD будет осуществляться автоматически после внесения депозита в BUSD на блокчейне Ethereum. Токены zBUSD будут поддерживаться несколькими кошельками в экосистеме Zilliqa, включая ZilPay, Zillet и Moonlet.
Если держатель zBUSD захочет перевести стейблкоин обратно в сеть Ethereum, ему потребуется сжечь свои токены, после чего соответствующий объём BUSD будет освобождён в первоначальном контракте.
☝️Ожидается, что в режим полной функциональности этот мост будет переведён в четвёртом квартале 2020 года. После этого разработчики смогут задействовать BUSD в своих приложениях.
Стейблкоин BUSD эмитируется биржей Binance в сотрудничестве с компанией Paxos Trust. Его оборотный объём на сегодняшний день составляет около 175 млн, увеличившись с февраля в 10 раз.

The developers of the Zilliqa blockchain platform announced their intention to integrate the stablecoin Binance USD (BUSD) into their ecosystem. The decentralized exchange Switcheo will help them in this.
✅ Integration will be achieved through the creation of a “bridge of compatibility” between the Ethereum and Zilliqa chains. Thanks to him, BUSD holders will be able to move the stablecoin from Ethereum to Zilliqa and vice versa. Zilliqa and Switcheo will act as bridge operators and form an administrative consortium that will manage all ZRC-2-BUSD or zBUSD contracts. The advantages of this approach are an increase in speed and lower commissions.
❗️To implement the described intention, two smart contracts will be involved. One of them will allow fixing BUSD on the Ethereum blockchain, the second - releasing zBUSD on the Zilliqa blockchain. ZBUSD will be released automatically after making a deposit in BUSD on the Ethereum blockchain. ZBUSD tokens will be supported by several wallets in the Zilliqa ecosystem, including ZilPay, Zillet and Moonlet.
If the zBUSD holder wants to transfer the stablecoin back to the Ethereum network, he will need to burn his tokens, after which the corresponding amount of BUSD will be released in the original contract.
☝️ It is expected that in full functionality this bridge will be transferred in the fourth quarter of 2020. After that, developers will be able to use BUSD in their applications.
The stablecoin BUSD is issued by the Binance exchange in collaboration with Paxos Trust. Its circulating volume today is about 175 million, having increased 10 times since February.
