Криптовалютная биржа Binance этим летом планирует запустить регулируемую торговую платформу в Великобритании. Об этом сообщает Reuters.
✅Платформа под названием Binance.UK ориентирована как на розничных, так и на институциональных инвесторов, и будет регулироваться Управлением по финансовому надзору Великобритании (FCA).
Биржа планирует добавить поддержку 65 криптовалют, которые можно обменять на фунты и евро. Binance.UK будет поддерживать переводы через британскую платежную систему Faster Payments Service (FPS) и «Единую зону платежей в евро» (SEPA).
⚡️В начале мая Binance наняла бывшего руководителя Coinfloor Теану Бейкер-Тейлор в качестве представителя биржи в Великобритании. В комментарии для Reuters Бейкер-Тейлор сказала: «Интерес к рынку цифровых активов в Великобритании растет. The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation criticized the bill on cryptocurrencies. This is written by Izvestia with reference to the recall of Deputy Minister of Justice Denis Novak.
🔺As Novak notes, the bill creates uncertainty regarding the sale of cryptocurrencies in the framework of enforcement proceedings, since their purchase in the Russian Federation is prohibited by a document. The situation is being considered when the bailiffs arrest the digital assets of the non-payer, but there will be no one to sell them. The deputy minister sees a possible solution to the problem in the definition of a state agency through which holders of digital currency will be able to sell it abroad.
РомеIn addition, experts explain that Russian bailiffs have no experience selling digital assets in foreign jurisdictions, but the draft law in its current version leaves them no other choice. The question of registering an account on a cryptocurrency exchange also raises a question, since verification of it will require the data of a real person, which entails the risk of losing control.
📌Novak also highlighted the clause of the bill on liability for individuals for illegal trafficking of cryptocurrencies. Recall that the document involves a fine of up to 500,000 rubles, and for especially large damage - a prison term of up to seven years. According to the deputy minister, "it is not always clear who exactly needs to be punished for administrative offenses, there are contradictions with industry legislation and inconsistencies between the requirements of documents."
❗️Minek earlier criticized the bill, noting that the proposed measures create risks for the formation of an “uncontrolled black market”. The Ministry of Communications and Mass Media also sent its review, which states that along with cryptocurrencies, loyalty programs, crowdfunding and charity programs may be banned.
