Биржа криптовалютных деривативов BitMEX предупредила клиентов, что предстоящее уполовинивание награды майнеров за добытый блок приведет к задержкам при осуществлении транзакций и повышению комиссионных сборов.
Специалисты биржи отметили, что, как и в преддверии предыдущих двух халвингов, участники криптосообщества задаются теми же вопросами, что и прежде. Сократится ли число майнеров? Упадет ли хешрейт? Скажется ли это на общей уверенности? Упадет ли цена на биткоин?
📕В BitMEX считают, что снижение вдвое награды за добытый блок приведет к сокращению хешрейта на 34% при условии отсутствия значимого изменения цены на биткоин. В результате в течение нескольких недель после халвинга по их мнению стоит ожидать временных задержек подтверждения транзакций – как для депозитов, так и для вывода средств.
В BitMEX признали, что их выводы носят оценочный характер, поскольку крупные майнеры не раскрывают данные о своих издержках, а использованная информация от публичных майнинговых компаний Hut 8, Hive, Bitfarms, Argo Blockchain и поставщика оборудования для добычи биткоина Blockware Solutions по затратам на электричество могут быть нерепрезентативными.

The BitMEX cryptocurrency derivatives exchange has warned customers that the upcoming halving of the miners' rewards for the mined block will lead to delays in transactions and increase commission fees.
✏️The exchange experts noted that, as in anticipation of the previous two halving, participants in the crypto community are asking the same questions as before. Will the number of miners decrease? Will the hash rate drop? Will this affect overall confidence? Will Bitcoin Price Drop?
BitMEX believes that halving the reward for the mined block will lead to a decrease in the hashrate by 34%, provided there is no significant change in the price of bitcoin. As a result, within a few weeks after the halving, in their opinion, one should expect temporary delays in confirming transactions - both for deposits and for withdrawing funds.
BitMEX acknowledged that their conclusions are evaluative in nature, as large miners do not disclose data on their costs, and the information used by public mining companies Hut 8, Hive, Bitfarms, Argo Blockchain and Bitcoin mining equipment supplier Blockware Solutions for electricity costs may to be unrepresentative.
