Во вторник малоизвестная вьетнамская криптовалютная биржа VinDAX подверглась хакерской атаке, в результате которой с площадки было похищено около $500 000.
Администрация Telegram-канала VinDAX подтвердила достоверность этой информации, но не стала раскрывать детали инцидента, заявив только, что «последствия атаки были ликвидированы и ситуация находится под контролем». Однако, как сообщил изданию The Block источник, знакомый с ситуацией, хакеры вывели с биржи активы в 23 криптовалютах на сумму около $500 000.
Биржа VinDAX в основном занимается проведением токенсейлов небольших криптовалютных проектов. По информации The Block, руководство биржи обратилось к проектам, токены которых были похищены, с просьбой «одолжить от 30% до 100% токенов от суммы, которая была украдена, для того, чтобы обработать запросы пользователей на вывод средств».
🖌Это уже седьмой взлом криптовалютной биржи с начала текущего года. Общий объем всех похищенных с криптовалютных площадок средств за 2019 год превысил $100 млн, а за все время существования криптовалютной отрасли – достиг $1.4 млрд.
В июле хакерской атаке подверглась японская криптовалютная биржа Bitpoint, а в июне жертвой взлома стала сингапурская площадка Bitrue. С начала года список пострадавших бирж также пополнили такие платформы как Binance, Bithumb, DragonEX и Cryptopia.

On Tuesday, the little-known Vietnamese cryptocurrency exchange VinDAX was attacked by a hacker, as a result of which about $ 500,000 was stolen from the site.
The administration of the VinDAX Telegram channel confirmed the reliability of this information, but did not disclose the details of the incident, saying only that "the consequences of the attack were eliminated and the situation is under control." However, a source familiar with the situation told The Block, hackers withdrew assets from 23 cryptocurrencies in the amount of about $ 500,000 from the exchange.
VinDAX exchange is mainly engaged in conducting tokensales of small cryptocurrency projects. 📗📗📗According to The Block, the exchange’s management turned to projects whose tokens were stolen with a request “to borrow from 30% to 100% of tokens from the amount that was stolen in order to process user requests for withdrawal of funds."
This is the seventh hack of the cryptocurrency exchange since the beginning of this year. The total amount of funds stolen from cryptocurrency platforms in 2019 exceeded $ 100 million, and over the entire life of the cryptocurrency industry it reached $ 1.4 billion.
In July, the Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Bitpoint was hacked, and in June, the Bitrue site in Singapore was hacked. Since the beginning of the year, such platforms as Binance, Bithumb, DragonEX and Cryptopia have also added to the list of affected exchanges.
