Разработчик блокчейн-проекта Cardano компания IOHK объявил о публичном запуске тестовой сети Shelley, являющейся первой децентрализованной имплементацией механизма консенсуса Ouroboros Genesis.
✅Публичный запуск Shelley позволит разработчикам протестировать поведение децентрализованной сети на базе Ouroboros при участии сообщества перед запуском изменений в основном блокчейне. В настоящее время основная сеть Cardano основывается на союзной модели, где все ноды контролируются Cardano Foundation, IOHK или EMURGO.

The developer of the Cardano blockchain project, IOHK, announced the public launch of the Shelley test network, the first decentralized implementation of the Ouroboros Genesis consensus mechanism.
ShePublic launch of Shelley will allow developers to test the behavior of a decentralized network based on Ouroboros with community participation before launching changes in the main blockchain. Currently, the main Cardano network is based on an allied model where all nodes are controlled by the Cardano Foundation, IOHK or EMURGO.
🔺 “Our ultimate goal as a project is to fully decentralize and transfer most of the nodes to the community. This task is not only difficult from the engineering side, but also requires that the changes are reliable for the long-term development of the network, ”the developers write.
🔽Initially, they formed a closed network to check how the protocol works in real time, and collect critical information about it. IOHK is now encouraging community members to join the Shelley Testing to consider possible user behavior scenarios.
