По словам министра финансов Индии Ануранга Тхакура, власти страны на официальном уровне пока не запрещали операции с криптовалютами.
☝️Напомним, ранее поступала информация, что правительство Индии может не только запретить все виды сделок с биткоином и альткоинами, но и даже ввести уголовное наказание за такие транзакции.
Выступая на встрече с парламентариями, индийский министр ответил на вопрос одного депутата о судьбе криптосферы, что на данный момент сделки с цифровыми активами, которые совершают граждане и компании, никто не запрещал.
📌Он подчеркнул, что пока правительство еще не разработало законопроект о регулировании отношений в криптовалютной индустрии,, поэтому нет никаких юридических оснований для преследований трейдеров и держателей токенов.
В Индии в настоящее время запрещены только те операции с использованием криптовалют, которые противоречат действующим нормам законодательства, резюмировал чиновник.

According to the Minister of Finance of India Anuranga Thakura, the authorities at the official level have not yet banned operations with cryptocurrencies.

Speaking at a meeting with parliamentarians, the Indian minister answered the question of one deputy about the fate of the cryptosphere that at the moment no one forbade transactions with digital assets made by citizens and companies.
“He stressed that so far the government has not yet developed a bill to regulate relations in the cryptocurrency industry, therefore there are no legal grounds for persecution of traders and holders of tokens.
In India, currently, only those operations using cryptocurrencies that are contrary to the current legislation are prohibited, the official concluded.
