Software developer BlockStream has announced that the Green Wallet mobile wallet now supports third-party Liquid Network.
According to the company's blog post, wallet users can now store, send and receive Liquid Bitcoin (L-BTC) and other digital assets released on the Liquid sidechain.
LiquidThe Liquid Network project, which appeared in the form of an idea back in 2015 and launched in October 2018, is aimed at ensuring faster Bitcoin transactions (BTC) between enterprises and individuals using its functions. It is reported that transactions with bitcoins on sidechain, where it moves like Liquid Bitcoin, are also more private:
L-BTC transactions on Liquid also use the latest confidential transaction technology, which ensures that key transaction details are hidden by default. Third parties verifying will be able to see the addresses from which the transaction was sent, but will be able to find out how many were sent or even what was sent.
