✅Функция Coin Control работает с биткоином и другими криптовалютами на его основе. Ранее при создании транзакции на платформе Ledger Live в единую транзакцию собирались наиболее старые неизрасходованные выходы транзакций (UTXO). Теперь пользователи смогут выбрать конкретные UTXO, которые они хотят добавить в транзакцию.
☝️Разработчики отмечают, что такая функция будет полезной в самых различных ситуациях. Например, она поможет бороться с так называемыми «пылевыми атаками», когда злоумышленники рассылают множество небольших транзакций для отслеживания и определения личности владельца кошелька. С помощью Coin Control можно просто исключить такие UTXO из транзакции.
Кроме того, благодаря новой функции можно снизить комиссии – если выбрать более крупные UTXO, то объем транзакции будет меньше, а значит, снизится и комиссия. Отметим, что для включения функции Coin Control пользователю необходимо зайти в меню «Дополнительные настройки» при создании транзакции.

Hardware wallet company Ledger has added a new Coin Control feature to its Ledger Live platform. With this feature, users will be able to select UTXO when creating a transaction.
✅The Coin Control function works with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies based on it. Previously, when creating a transaction on the Ledger Live platform, the oldest unspent transaction outputs (UTXO) were collected into a single transaction. Users will now be able to select the specific UTXOs they want to add to the transaction.
☝️The developers note that such a function will be useful in a variety of situations. For example, it will help fight the so-called "dust attacks", when attackers send out many small transactions to track and identify the wallet owner. Using Coin Control, you can simply exclude such UTXOs from the transaction.
In addition, thanks to the new function, you can reduce commissions - if you choose larger UTXOs, then the transaction volume will be less, which means that the commission will also decrease. Note that to enable the Coin Control function, the user needs to go to the "Additional settings" menu when creating a transaction.
