Инвесторы блокчейн-проекта Telegram Open Network (TON) готовы ждать запуска основной сети до 30 апреля и не требовать возврата денежных средств. Об этом пишет Forbes со ссылкой на источники, знакомые с результатами голосований.
✅Ранее предполагалось, что сеть TON будет запущена до конца октября, однако иск Комиссии по ценным бумагам и биржам США (SEC) против организаторов проекта не позволил им исполнить замысел. Тогда Telegram, по информации СМИ, предложил участникам обоих инвестиционных раундов проголосовать за отсрочку запуска либо возврат приблизительно 77% от вложенной суммы. Вместе с одобрением на перенос сроков запуска Telegram получил разрешение инвесторов дополнительно потратить $80 млн на развитие TON.
❗️Ранее предполагалось, что слушания в рамках разбирательства SEC с Telegram состоятся сегодня, 24 октября. Тем не менее, дата заседания была перенесена на середину февраля по решению суда.
В Telegram положительно отозвались об изменении сроков рассмотрения дела, отметив, что на февральских слушаниях они будут добиваться признания за токеном Gram отсутствия статуса ценной бумаги, тогда как на октябрьском заседании лишь решался бы вопрос об утверждении требования SEC ограничить распространение Gram среди инвесторов.

✅ It was previously assumed that the TON network would be launched before the end of October, however, the lawsuit of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against the organizers of the project did not allow them to fulfill the plan. Then Telegram, according to media reports, invited the participants of both investment rounds to vote for a delayed launch or a return of approximately 77% of the invested amount. Together with approval to postpone the launch, Telegram received investor permission to spend an additional $ 80 million on TON development.
❗️ Previously, it was assumed that the hearings in the SEC proceedings with Telegram will be held today, October 24th. However, the date of the meeting was postponed to mid-February by court order.
Telegram positively commented on changing the terms of the case, noting that at the February hearings they would seek recognition of the absence of a security status for the Gram token, while at the October meeting they would only decide on the approval of the SEC requirement to limit the distribution of Gram among investors.
