Венесуэльская криптовалютная биржа CriptoLAGO и «инвестиционный криптобанк» Glufco запустили дебетовую карту с поддержкой четырех криптовалют, включая государственную монету Petro.
🔺«То чего мы все ждали, наш альянс с Glufco выводит нас на передовую!», — пишут представители CriptoLAGO в социальной сети Instagram.
🔽Кроме государственной криптовалюты Венесуэлы Petro, дебетовая карта поддерживает биткоин (BTC), эфир (ETH) и Dash (DASH). При этом представители Glufco назвали карту «устройством для передачи криптовалют» и намекнули, что в будущем система будет автоматически обновляться и получать поддержку новых цифровых активов. Правда, похоже, что поддержку фиатных валют, в том числе и боливара, карта не получит.
Терминалы для использования карты можно будет установить на торговых точках, при этом программное обеспечение поддерживает различные операционные системы.
☝️Напомним, что запуск государственной криптовалюты Венесуэлы Petro состоялся в 2018 году. Однако она не завоевала популярности, поэтому власти страны стараются максимально продвинуть проект внутри государства. Так, президент Венесуэлы Николас Мадуро (Nicolas Maduro) обязал Банк Венесуэлы открыть терминалы Petro во всех отделениях. Кроме того, пенсионные накопления граждан были переведены в Petro.

🔽 In addition to the Venezuelan Petro state cryptocurrency, the debit card supports bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH) and Dash (DASH). At the same time, Glufco representatives called the card a “cryptocurrency transfer device” and hinted that in the future the system will automatically update and receive support for new digital assets. True, it seems that the card will not receive support for fiat currencies, including bolivar.
The terminals for using the card can be installed at retail outlets, while the software supports various operating systems.
