Coast Guard officials said the oxygen on board the submersible is expected to run out on Thursday morning. Fresh hope was raised for finding the crew alive when the US Coast Guard said hat a Canadian P-3 aircraft helping the search has detected "underwater banging noises," with remotely operated vehicles sent to investigate.
