Anyways, I made Señor Dennis wait for me outside because he didn't have his key.

*I made - я заставила. Make - заставлять. Тут надо очень хорошо запомнить, что заставлять что-то сделать просто "make do smth" без "to" посередине.
I made him smile - я заставила его улыбнуться (парадокс, да? Заставить улыбнуться).

Так вот, я не специально его заставила ждать, а так получилось и в английском самое подходящее слово для таких случаев - make.

While Dennis was waiting for me in our courtyard (это дворик, именно в квартирных домах) he witnessed (был свидетелем) a scene of hit and run.
Hit and run - как говорит само название - стукнул и сбежал с места преступления.

Señor Dennis was on his phone and he took a photo of the car who committed this crime (совершать преступление всегда commit a crime, никак иначе! Commit специальное слово для преступления, самоубийства), a black car hit a white car (просто облегчим ситуацию).

5 minutes later the owner of the white car which was hit (которая была стукнута) came outside and saw that his car was damaged (был испорчен) and he got sad but luckily Señor Dennis was there and he showed him the photo of the black car's plate (да, да, номер машины в английском - как тарелка).

Señor says during the whole crime scene (сцена преступления) there was a courtyard cleaner (дворник) and he saw everything but didn't react.

I have another story about hit and run in the States but it's another long story. Tell me please у нас много hit and run в Казахстане? I don't drive, I don't know.
Have you ever hit somebody's car and left? Вы сами виноваты в подобном?
