In light of recent events regarding StakeCube, Ghost remains unscathed from whatever it was that happened over there. We are still trying to collect more information on what exactly happened to the exchange and ultimately, Oleg. Nevertheless, I have been in contact with the contagion team and they've said that D&W for $GHOST will be reopened soon. I've asked the team for priority over other projects since Ghost was unharmed. I wasn't given an exact timeline, but wanted to share for transparency purposes. Now some exciting stuff! We have been in deep discussion surrounding wrapped $GHOST. Explicitly speaking, building on Cardano. We've come to the conclusion that this might not be the best time for our ecosystem to be bridged with them. Our research, which concluded in late Q4, raised some interesting questions such as the interoperability of these blockchains and really if it made sense to even build on these chains. Is there liquidity? Is their code strong? Is the ecosystem decentralized? How many other projects exist there? With that being said, we've decided to pause development on Cardano and begin development on Polygon. The main factors that lead to this decision are the liquidity, scalability and Polygon's user friendly SDK. This will allow Ghost access to billions of dollars of liquidity and the opportunity to collaborate with other great projects in this space. We'll keep you updated as progress evolves.
